Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountancy Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating our athletes and staff on fundamental and advanced accounting principles, financial management, and relevant industry practices within the sports and recreation sector. This role is crucial in ensuring financial literacy and compliance among our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive accounting curriculum tailored to the needs of athletes and administrative staff.
- Teach core accounting concepts including financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, and taxation.
- Explain financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide guidance on bookkeeping, accounting software, and internal financial controls.
- Educate on ethical considerations and regulatory compliance in accounting.
- Prepare teaching materials, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and industry best practices.
- Organize workshops and seminars on financial literacy for athletes and staff.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure practical application of accounting principles.
