Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive with a recent LLB degree to join our finance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the dynamic EdTech sector. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the finance department's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Assist in bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
Help in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those related to financial and corporate law, leveraging your LLB knowledge.
Assist in audit preparations and provide supporting documentation as required.
Handle petty cash management and expense reimbursements.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects.
