Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting & Taxation professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all accounting principles and tax regulations, managing financial records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and direct/indirect tax laws applicable to the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including GST, TDS, and corporate income tax, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company balances.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards and assess their impact on the company.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Participate in tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
