Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional with a Master of Arts (M.A) degree and 2-3 years of experience in accounting and taxation to join our finance team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and taxation tasks, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations, and supporting the financial operations of our Defence & Aerospace division.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns (e.g., GST, Income Tax) in accordance with Indian tax laws.
Support in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Liaise with internal and external auditors for tax and accounting-related matters.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation in India.
