Accounts Payable Executive - Petrochemical / Plastics / Rubber (1-2 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive with 1-2 years of experience, preferably with an LLB degree, to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail, with the added benefit of legal understanding from an LLB background for contract review and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying and reconciling invoices and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and payment terms.
- Maintain the accounts payable ledger and perform regular reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Review vendor contracts for compliance and identify potential financial risks (leveraging LLB knowledge).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth invoice processing.
