Accounts Payable Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Pune. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-5 years of experience in accounts payable, looking to grow their career in a dynamic BPM environment. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This position does not require a formal graduation degree but emphasizes practical experience and a strong understanding of AP processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage all vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Maintain the vendor master file, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations.
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the AP function.
