Accounts Payable Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all aspects of the accounts payable function for our Indian operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports, while maintaining strong internal controls and fostering positive vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, verification, and data entry.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment terms.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Develop and implement robust internal controls to prevent fraud and errors within the AP function.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues.

Oversee the processing of employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company travel and expense policies.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing AP-related journal entries and accruals.

Prepare regular reports on AP aging, vendor spend, and other relevant metrics for management.

Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations (e.g., TDS) related to vendor payments in India.

Manage and mentor the AP team, providing guidance and support.

Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the AP function.
