Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the entire accounts payable function for our Indian operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the AP department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills to drive efficiency and compliance within the AP process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and other accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS).
• Develop and implement efficient AP processes and internal controls to minimize errors and prevent fraud.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and analyze AP aging reports, cash flow forecasts related to AP, and other relevant financial reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth invoice processing and resolution of issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the AP function.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of vendor statements and general ledger accounts.
