Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs via various payment methods.
- Maintain the vendor master file, ensuring all vendor information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and tax regulations pertaining to accounts payable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for daily AP operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice issues and ensure smooth payment processes.
