Accounts Receivable Executive (2-3 Yrs Experience)

We are seeking a diligent and organized Accounts Receivable Executive with 2-3 years of experience to join our finance team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for managing our incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining healthy cash flow within our dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process incoming payments from customers, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card payments.

Accurately post customer payments to the general ledger and customer accounts.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to the general ledger.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts and payments.

Generate and send out invoices and statements of account to customers.

Monitor aging accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments through calls, emails, and letters.

Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable.

Maintain accurate and organized customer account files and payment records.

Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
