Accounts Receivable Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will manage the entire credit and collections process, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is crucial for optimizing cash flow and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures.
- Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, cash application, and collections.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and resolve disputes.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Oversee the collection process, including making collection calls, sending reminders, and negotiating payment plans.
- Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Train and mentor junior AR staff.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Generate regular reports on AR status, cash flow projections, and key performance indicators for management.
