Role Summary:
We are seeking a driven and analytical Actuarial Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team in Chennai. This role will involve applying actuarial principles and advanced analytical techniques to support strategic decision-making within the biotechnology sector. The ideal candidate will possess a M.Des degree and a strong understanding of data modeling, risk assessment, and financial forecasting, with a keen interest in the unique challenges and opportunities within the biopharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to assess financial risks and opportunities related to product development, clinical trials, and market penetration in the biotechnology space.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, forecast future outcomes, and provide data-driven insights to various business units.
- Collaborate with R&D, clinical, and commercial teams to understand project lifecycles and their financial implications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new drug development and market entry strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, clearly communicating actuarial findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and premium calculations for new and existing biopharmaceutical products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the biotechnology and insurance sectors.
