Job Description
We are seeking a creative and analytical Actuarial Analyst with a unique perspective to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your B.Des background to bring innovative insights into our actuarial processes, particularly as they relate to product design, material costing, and market risk assessment within the furniture and furnishings sector. You will work closely with our finance and product development teams to analyze data, model financial scenarios, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience who can blend design thinking with quantitative analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform product development and pricing strategies.
Develop and maintain financial models to assess risks associated with new product launches and material sourcing.
Collaborate with design teams to quantify the financial impact of design choices and material specifications.
Prepare reports and presentations on actuarial findings for stakeholders across departments.
Utilize design thinking principles to identify innovative solutions for cost optimization and value enhancement.
Contribute to the development of business cases for new market entries or product line expansions.
