We are seeking a motivated and analytical Actuarial Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong quantitative skills and a deep understanding of risk management principles within the banking sector. While formal graduation is not a strict requirement, a proven track record in actuarial analysis and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
Role Summary:
The Actuarial Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing actuarial models and strategies to support the bank's financial planning, risk assessment, and product development initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate pricing, reserving, and capital adequacy, contributing significantly to the bank's profitability and solvency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and capital management in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IRDAI, RBI guidelines).
Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with product development teams to design and price new banking and insurance products.
Perform experience studies (mortality, morbidity, lapse, etc.) and update assumptions as needed.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on actuarial findings and recommendations.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in actuarial science and risk management.
Assist in the development and implementation of robust internal controls for actuarial processes.
