Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Kochi. As a key member of our product engineering division, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge 3D printing solutions for our clients across various industries. This role is ideal for a recent Master of Design (M.Des) graduate with a strong foundation in design principles and additive manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into 3D printable designs.
- Develop and optimize CAD models for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Select appropriate materials and 3D printing technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS) for specific applications.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers, troubleshoot print failures, and ensure quality control of manufactured parts.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in additive manufacturing materials, processes, and software.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of 3D printed components.
- Document design processes, test results, and project outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of additive manufacturing workflows and best practices.
