Job Description

Role Summary: The Agrochemical Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all UPL's agrochemical products and operations in India adhere to national and international regulatory standards and guidelines. This role is crucial for maintaining the company's license to operate and ensuring the safe and responsible use of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret evolving regulations related to pesticides, fertilizers, and other agrochemicals in India.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and policies.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing, storage, and distribution processes to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and documentation for product registrations and approvals.
- Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Manage product stewardship programs and ensure compliance with labeling and safety data sheet requirements.
- Investigate and report on any compliance breaches or incidents.
- Provide training to relevant personnel on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Stay updated on scientific advancements and their implications for agrochemical safety and efficacy.
