Role Summary:
Volocopter India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Traffic Controller to manage and oversee the safe and efficient operation of our urban air mobility (UAM) network. The Air Traffic Controller will be responsible for coordinating air traffic within designated UAM corridors, ensuring seamless integration with existing air traffic management systems, and maintaining the highest safety standards for our eVTOL aircraft operations in a dynamic urban environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage air traffic within designated UAM airspace using advanced surveillance and communication systems.
• Coordinate with pilots of Volocopter aircraft, ground control, and other relevant air traffic control units.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and air traffic control directives.
• Develop and implement traffic management strategies for eVTOL operations in urban environments.
• Respond to and manage emergency situations, deviations, and unexpected events with swift and decisive action.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all air traffic control activities.
• Continuously assess and adapt to evolving UAM operational requirements and technological advancements.
