Job Description
Role Summary: The Airport Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of airport operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant functioning. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to manage day-to-day activities, long-term planning, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance airport efficiency and passenger experience.
Manage and coordinate with various stakeholders including airlines, air traffic control, security agencies, ground handling services, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee daily operational activities, including flight scheduling, gate management, baggage handling, and passenger flow.
Ensure compliance with all national and international aviation regulations and safety standards.
Develop and manage the airport's operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Lead and mentor the airport operations team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Plan and execute emergency response procedures, conducting drills and training exercises.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Manage infrastructure maintenance and development projects related to airport operations.
