Allergist / Immunologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Allergist/Immunologist to join our team and contribute to the health and well-being of athletes and individuals engaged in sports and leisure activities within our network. This role will focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing allergic and immunologic conditions, with a particular emphasis on performance optimization and injury prevention in a sports context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, rhinitis, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, and primary immunodeficiencies.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as skin prick tests, intradermal tests, and specific IgE blood tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacotherapy, immunotherapy (allergy shots), and lifestyle modifications.
• Provide expert consultation on the impact of allergies and immunologic conditions on athletic performance and recovery.
• Collaborate with sports medicine physicians, trainers, and coaches to ensure the safe and effective participation of athletes with allergic or immunologic conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in allergy and immunology, particularly as they relate to sports and exercise.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
