Allied Health Manager

Role Summary:
The Allied Health Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the health and safety protocols within VA Tech Wabag's operational sites and facilities across India. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors, adhering to stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards relevant to the water treatment and waste management industry. The manager will lead initiatives to prevent occupational health hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety programs across all operational sites.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate all workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure the provision of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and its correct usage.
• Organize and conduct health and safety training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to integrate health and safety into all project phases.
• Stay updated with the latest health and safety legislation, industry best practices, and technological advancements.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
