Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with all relevant AML regulations and internal policies within our Indian operations. The analyst will be responsible for monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activities, and contributing to the overall AML framework of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions for potential money laundering activities.
- Investigate suspicious activity reports (SARs) and escalate findings to senior management and relevant authorities.
- Conduct due diligence on new and existing clients and business partners.
- Stay updated on evolving AML regulations, typologies, and best practices in India.
- Assist in the development and implementation of AML policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of investigations and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Legal, Compliance, and Operations, to address AML risks.
- Participate in AML training sessions for employees.
- Conduct risk assessments related to AML and counter-terrorist financing (CTF).
