Application Security Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Application Security Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our software applications throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities, implement security best practices, and contribute to building a security-first culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on web and mobile applications.
- Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation guidance.
- Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline, including automated security testing.
- Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development.
- Perform code reviews to identify security flaws and ensure adherence to secure coding principles.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis.
- Educate and train development teams on secure coding practices and emerging threats.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest application security threats, trends, and technologies.
