Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical AR VR QA Tester with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) degree and a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, particularly within the context of emerging AR/VR technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and user experience of our Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications, which may be used for training, simulation, or product visualization within the petrochemical and plastics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for AR/VR applications, focusing on functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility across various hardware and software platforms.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking systems, providing clear and concise reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with AR/VR developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that bug fixes and new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on user experience and overall application quality.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in AR/VR technology and QA methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
