Job Description

Role Summary:
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Pratham's educational programs and operations within a designated geographical area in India. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and execution capabilities to drive program impact and ensure efficient resource utilization. The Area Manager will work closely with local communities, government stakeholders, and Pratham's field teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for program expansion and sustainability within the assigned area.
- Manage and mentor a team of field coordinators and program staff, ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of educational centers and activities, ensuring quality and adherence to Pratham's methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, school authorities, and government officials.
- Monitor program progress, collect data, and prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
- Identify challenges and implement effective solutions to overcome them, ensuring program continuity and impact.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for staff and volunteers.
- Represent Pratham at local forums and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
