Armed Security Guard

Role Summary: To ensure the safety and security of Blue Dart's facilities, assets, personnel, and cargo by maintaining a vigilant presence and responding effectively to any security threats or incidents. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for protecting the company's premises from unauthorized access, theft, and damage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor company premises, including warehouses, offices, and delivery hubs, to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Inspect and secure entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are granted access.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents promptly and professionally.
- Conduct searches of individuals and vehicles as per company policy and legal requirements.
- Maintain a log of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, providing guidance to staff and visitors.
- Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security vulnerabilities to the supervisor.
- Escort high-value cargo and personnel when required.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned firearms and adhere to all firearm safety regulations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
