Asset Manager

BioGen Innovations is seeking a meticulous and organized Asset Manager to oversee and manage our diverse portfolio of research equipment, consumables, and intellectual property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is crucial in supporting our ongoing research and development efforts and optimizing resource allocation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including laboratory equipment, reagents, and software licenses.
• Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures.
• Coordinate regular maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
• Track asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations related to asset management.
• Generate reports on asset utilization, maintenance costs, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Operations Management, Supply Chain).
• Proven experience in asset management, inventory control, or a related role.
• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
