Asset Manager - Railways (Vishakhapatnam) - 3-5 Yrs

Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Asset Manager with a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree to oversee the lifecycle management of railway assets. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the Indian Railways or a related infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and safety of our railway assets, contributing to operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role is based in Vishakhapatnam.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize asset value and minimize lifecycle costs.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of railway assets to identify potential issues, risks, and maintenance needs.

Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Manage asset data and maintain comprehensive records, including maintenance history, performance metrics, and depreciation.

Analyze asset performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.

Prepare reports on asset health, performance, and maintenance expenditures for management review.

Contribute to the development and implementation of asset lifecycle management software and systems.
