Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager with an LLM degree and 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role involves supporting legal and compliance functions within our water treatment and waste management operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and contributing to strategic legal initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental laws and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, and agreements relevant to water treatment and waste management projects.
- Conduct legal research on environmental regulations, permits, and compliance requirements in India.
- Support the legal team in litigation and dispute resolution processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments on contractual and regulatory matters.
- Monitor changes in environmental legislation and advise on their impact on the company's operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing legal and compliance training programs for employees.
- Maintain organized legal records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks.
