Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Associate to join our Private Equity team in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong academic background, including a Doctorate/PhD, and 1-2 years of experience in finance, consulting, or a related field, looking to build a career in private equity. The Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the investment process from sourcing to exit, contributing to deal execution, portfolio management, and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for potential investments.
Assist in the preparation of investment committee memos, presentations, and other deal-related documentation.
Support portfolio companies in strategic planning, operational improvements, and financial performance monitoring.
Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities and market trends within target sectors.
Collaborate with senior investment professionals and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle.
Perform industry research and competitive analysis to inform investment theses.
