Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Audit & Control professional with 6 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree to join our team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance across various business operations within the leather industry. This role requires a strong understanding of audit methodologies and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Develop and execute audit plans based on risk assessments and business objectives.
- Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Identify control weaknesses and operational inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans, for management review.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely closure.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand business processes and assess control environments.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks relevant to the leather manufacturing sector.
- Assist in special investigations and ad-hoc audit projects as required.
