Audit Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Executive to join our dynamic team. The Audit Executive will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal audit plan, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will play a critical part in safeguarding the company's assets and ensuring operational integrity as we scale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan, considering the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify and assess risks across the organization, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CIA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
