Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tata Consumer Products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes through innovative automation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated testing frameworks for software and hardware systems.
- Design, build, and maintain automated systems for manufacturing processes, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Operations, IT) to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems and processes.
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and best practices.
- Document automation designs, procedures, and maintenance activities.
