Job Description
Role Summary: The Aviation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the aerial logistics and drone delivery operations for Zomato's expanding food delivery network. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation principles, drone technology, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage drone-based delivery systems and flight paths.
- Ensure compliance with all DGCA regulations and aviation safety standards for drone operations.
- Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks on drone fleets.
- Analyze flight data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate flight control systems with Zomato's delivery platform.
- Develop and execute emergency response protocols for aerial operations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in drone technology and aviation regulations.
