Job Description
Role Summary: The Aviation Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all aviation-related assets and personnel within Tata Power's corporate aviation facilities. This role requires a vigilant and proactive approach to identify and mitigate security risks, enforce security protocols, and respond effectively to any security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive aviation security plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of aviation facilities, including hangars, aircraft, and operational areas.
- Oversee and manage access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and respond to any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and aviation authorities on security matters.
- Conduct background checks and security clearances for all aviation personnel.
- Manage and train security staff on aviation security regulations and best practices.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international aviation security standards.
