Background Verification role in Manufacturing & Production (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Background Verification professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our Manufacturing & Production team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will have a B.Pharma degree and will be responsible for conducting thorough background checks on potential employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and safety of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive background verifications for new hires, including employment history, educational qualifications, and criminal record checks.
- Liaise with external agencies and databases to gather information for verification processes.
- Ensure all verification activities are conducted in compliance with relevant Indian labor laws and data privacy regulations.
- Document and report verification findings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify discrepancies and anomalies during the verification process and escalate them to the HR and Legal departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of all candidate information and verification records.
- Collaborate with the HR team to streamline the background verification process.
- Stay updated on best practices and changes in background verification procedures and regulations.
