Role Summary:
The Bancassurance Manager will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions across India to drive the sales of UPL's agrochemical products through the bancassurance channel. This role requires a deep understanding of both the agricultural sector and the financial services industry, with a focus on creating mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in partner banks and financial institutions.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve bancassurance targets for UPL's product portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to create customized product offerings and promotional campaigns for the bancassurance channel.
- Provide training and support to bank staff on UPL's products, value proposition, and sales techniques.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and address challenges.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
