Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a B.Com degree and 0-1 years of experience to join our finance team in Chennai. This role will focus on supporting the company's financial operations, with a specific emphasis on understanding and managing aspects related to bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain foundational experience in a critical area of corporate finance within the defence and aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports related to potential or ongoing bankruptcy cases.
Support the analysis of financial data, including assets, liabilities, and cash flows, to assess the financial health of entities in distress.
Conduct research on relevant Indian bankruptcy laws, regulations, and court procedures.
Collaborate with legal and finance departments to gather necessary documentation and information for insolvency proceedings.
Help in the reconciliation of accounts and tracking of financial transactions during restructuring or liquidation processes.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records for all bankruptcy-related activities.
Assist in the development of financial models and projections under various insolvency scenarios.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding financial aspects of bankruptcy matters.
Learn and apply accounting principles and practices specific to insolvency and bankruptcy.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on financial strategies.
