Barista

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to manage and operate our in-house café, serving employees of Syngene International Limited. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming and refreshing break experience for our dedicated team members in a fast-paced clinical research environment. The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized café space, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages.
• Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other café supplies; place orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the café.
