Role Summary: The Bell Captain will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of Locus Robotics' autonomous mobile robots within our Indian facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage robot deployment, monitor performance, and troubleshoot basic issues to ensure seamless warehouse operations. The Bell Captain will be a key player in supporting our growing automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily deployment and operation of LocusBots within the designated warehouse area.
- Monitor robot performance and battery levels, ensuring optimal uptime.
- Respond to robot alerts and initiate basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Assist in charging and maintenance routines for the robot fleet.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment for robot operations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding robot status and any operational issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
