Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our BFSI, Investments & Trading practice group. This role will involve providing expert legal counsel and support to clients operating within the financial services, investment banking, and trading sectors in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations, capital markets, and transactional law.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to BFSI, investments, and trading activities in India.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including investment agreements, trading contracts, and regulatory filings.
Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues related to financial markets.
Assist in the structuring and execution of financial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including SEBI, RBI, and FEMA guidelines.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel as required.
Stay abreast of developments in the BFSI and trading sectors and their legal implications.
