Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust big data solutions. You will work with large datasets, implement data pipelines, and ensure the efficiency and reliability of our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient big data solutions using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation of large datasets.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot big data systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.
