Job Description

Role Summary: The Bilingual / Multilingual Support - Non Voice role at Pratham Education Foundation involves providing essential support to our diverse stakeholders, including beneficiaries, donors, and partners, through written communication channels. This position requires fluency in at least two languages (English and one other Indian language) to facilitate clear and effective communication, ensuring smooth operations and program delivery across various regions of India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate and proofread documents, emails, and reports from English to other specified Indian languages and vice-versa.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information via email, chat, or other non-voice communication platforms in multiple languages.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of multilingual communication materials and outreach campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather information and provide support as needed.
  • Ensure cultural nuances and appropriate language are used in all communications.
  • Support program implementation by facilitating communication between field staff and headquarters.
