Billing / Planning Engineer - Electronics Manufacturing Sector (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Billing / Planning Engineer with a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) degree and 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of billing information and the strategic planning of production schedules within our fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and robust analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain accurate billing information for manufactured electronic components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand product specifications and translate them into billable items.
- Generate invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze production data to forecast material needs, labor requirements, and production timelines.
- Create and optimize production schedules, considering lead times, resource availability, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, proactively implementing solutions.
- Liaise with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Prepare reports on billing status, production efficiency, and planning forecasts for management.
- Utilize design software and manufacturing planning tools to support billing and scheduling processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for billing and production planning.
