Bio Technologist (2-4 Yrs) at United Breweries Ltd.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Bio Technologist with 2-4 years of experience and a BCA degree to join our Quality Assurance and Research & Development team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will support various biotechnological processes, assist in quality control measures, and contribute to innovation within our beverage production. This role requires a strong understanding of scientific principles and analytical techniques, with a focus on data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of biotechnological experiments and processes related to beverage production (e.g., fermentation monitoring, yeast propagation).
- Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and quality control data using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or similar software.
- Analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to senior team members.
- Support R&D initiatives by contributing to experimental design and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and scientific advancements relevant to biotechnology in the beverage sector.
