Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bio Technologist to join our innovative team. This role will involve applying principles of biotechnology to enhance and develop new workflows and tools within our animation and VFX pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biological processes and their potential applications in digital media creation, contributing to novel visual effects and character development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop novel methods for generating realistic biological simulations and textures for VFX.
- Collaborate with VFX artists and technical directors to integrate bio-inspired solutions into production pipelines.
- Analyze and interpret biological data to inform the creation of lifelike digital assets and environments.
- Develop and maintain tools and scripts for procedural generation of organic elements.
- Stay abreast of advancements in biotechnology and their potential applications in the entertainment industry.
- Troubleshoot and optimize biological simulation processes for efficiency and quality.
- Contribute to the conceptualization and design of new visual effects based on biological phenomena.
- Document methodologies, processes, and results for team reference and knowledge sharing.
