Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Biologist with a Doctorate/PhD to join our team in Nasik. This role involves applying biological principles and research methodologies to contribute to our innovation and sustainability initiatives within the furniture and furnishing industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience post-PhD.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on natural and synthetic materials for furniture applications, focusing on their biological properties, degradation pathways, and environmental impact.
Develop and implement experimental protocols for testing material durability, resistance to biological agents (e.g., fungi, insects), and eco-friendly treatments.
Analyze research data, interpret findings, and prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and quality control, to translate research insights into practical applications.
Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in biology and material science relevant to the furniture sector.
Contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative product lines through biological insights.
