Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biotechnology Teacher to join our educational initiatives within the sports and leisure sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students on the principles of biotechnology and its applications, fostering an understanding of how these concepts relate to sports performance, health, and recreation. This role involves curriculum development, instruction, and student assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans on biotechnology topics relevant to sports science, nutrition, and health.
- Educate students on areas such as genetics, molecular biology, sports physiology, and performance enhancement through biotechnological means.
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments and practical sessions to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, and practical evaluations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in biotechnology and their applications in the sports and leisure industry.
- Collaborate with other educators and sports professionals to integrate biotechnology concepts into broader sports science curricula.
- Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment in the classroom and laboratory.
