We are seeking a motivated and legally-minded individual to join our Board of Directors as a Board Member. This role is ideal for a professional with 2-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of corporate law, gained through an LLM degree. The Board Member will contribute to strategic decision-making, governance, and overall direction of the company, with a specific focus on legal compliance and risk management within the fast-paced consumer and retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the review and interpretation of legal documents, contracts, and regulatory filings relevant to the company's operations.
Provide legal insights and advice on corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Participate in board meetings, contributing to discussions on strategic initiatives, risk assessment, and policy development.
Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to mitigate legal and operational risks.
Conduct legal research on emerging trends and issues impacting the consumer, retail, and hospitality industries in India.
Collaborate with senior management and external legal counsel on various legal matters.
