Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boom Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The Boom Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boom lifts and other aerial work platforms to support various production and maintenance activities within our electronics manufacturing facility. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other aerial work platforms safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials, tools, and personnel to elevated work areas.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any defects or malfunctions.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with assembly, installation, and maintenance tasks at height.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
