Boom Operator

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boom Operator to join our dynamic production team. The Boom Operator will be responsible for operating the boom microphone to capture high-quality audio during various corporate events, film shoots, and multimedia productions. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain boom microphone equipment, including poles, microphones, and shock mounts.
• Position the boom microphone strategically to capture clear and consistent dialogue and sound effects.
• Collaborate closely with the sound mixer and director to achieve desired audio quality.
• Monitor audio levels and make adjustments as needed to prevent clipping or distortion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with audio equipment.
• Ensure all audio equipment is set up, tested, and packed away properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on set.
